How are Windy City Threads products made?
Our apparel and accessories are made to order after purchase. Producing items after an order is placed helps us offer more designs and sizes while reducing excess inventory.
How long will my apparel order take to arrive?
Most apparel and accessories are made to order. Production typically takes 2–5 business days before shipping. Shipping time is additional and varies by destination and the shipping method selected at checkout. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. See our shipping policy for details.
How do I choose the right size?
Start with the fit notes and size guide on the product page, where provided. Sizing can differ between T-shirts, hoodies, vests, and branded outerwear, so check each item rather than relying only on your usual size.
- Check whether the guide lists body measurements or garment measurements, and follow its measuring instructions.
- Use the same units as the chart. If it lists garment measurements, compare them with a similar item you already own that fits comfortably.
- Follow any product-specific advice about a fitted or relaxed fit.
If the measurements you need are missing or you are between sizes, contact us for sizing help before ordering. Include the product link, the sizes you are considering, and your preferred fit.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. We’ll email tracking information when your order ships. Tracking activity generally begins appearing within 24 hours, although carrier updates can occasionally take longer.
Why did only part of my order arrive?
Products may be made at different production facilities, so an order containing multiple items may arrive in separate packages. Tracking information is provided for each shipment when available.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible if you notice an address error. Once fulfillment or shipping has started, we may not be able to change the address or redirect the package.

Do you offer free U.S. shipping?
Free U.S. shipping is automatically applied to eligible orders with a merchandise subtotal of $65 or more after discounts. See our shipping policy for details.
How do I request a return?
Our current refund policy provides 30 days after receiving your item to request an eligible return. Items must be unworn or unused, with tags, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase. Contact info@windycitythreads.shop before sending anything back. Returns require acceptance and return instructions from our team. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for approved returns of non-defective items.

What if my item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so we can evaluate the issue and help.
When will I receive an approved refund?
After we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3 business days. How does the rewards program work?

Windy City Threads Digital Gift Cards
What gift-card amounts are available?
Windy City Threads digital gift cards are available in $25, $50 and $100 denominations. Choose your amount on the digital gift-card page.
How is my gift card delivered?
Gift cards are delivered digitally by email. No physical gift card is shipped. The 2–5 business-day production estimate for apparel does not apply to the digital gift card itself.
Where can I use a Windy City Threads gift card?
Redeem it online at Windy City Threads toward Chicago-inspired tees, hoodies, hats, accessories and more. Physical products purchased with a gift card follow their normal production and shipping timelines. Gift cards are non-returnable under our refund policy.

How do I sell a sports-card collection in Chicago?
